Next week the chapter starts celebrating FFA Week! The activities include:

Tuesday February 16: FFA T-Shirts, Member Breakfast @7am, Movie & Ribeye Night @6pm

Wednesday February 17: College Apparel, Ag Olympics @6pm

Thursday February 18: Official Dress, Member Luncheon, Ice cream Social after school, Euchre Night @6pm

Friday February 19: Carhart/Joe Dirt, Truck & Tractor

Saturday February 20: Ski Trip @6am

Sunday February 21: Church leave school @8:45am, Steakfeast/Putt-Putt @10:30am

Monday February 22: Board Games & Pizza @6pm

Wednesday February 24: Cornhole Tournament @6pm

Friday February 26: Drive-Through Pork Chop Dinner at Remington Farm Shop 5-7pm

The chapter is continuing to collect plastic to make benches. There is a competition between districts and chapters throughout the state to see who can collect the most. Also, Miss V's classes are competing against each other for a prize. What is acceptable for donation and what isn't is included in the images below.

To get free chapter FFA t-shirts members were given two options in the month of July. They could complete a scavenger hunt put together by the Officer team taking pictures with a list of things ag or FFA related or they could donate at the blood drive/recruit someone else to donate. Members did both of these activities, and at the blood drive the chapter got 16 units of blood for the American Red Cross. 

Our Chapter had a very successful Virtual State Convention. Our very own Blayne Vandeveer got inducted into state office in the position of Northern Region Vice President. Members also competed in contests. We had 10 teams place in Agriscience. The results are:

We also had members participate in other events and place. Blayne Vandeveer placed 1rst in Employment Skills and 3rd in Leadership Ambassador, the Agricultural Communications team of Tyler Kilmer, Leah Schneider, Abigail Arvin, & Avery Dawson placed 2nd in the state, and the Agribusiness Management team of Tyler Kilmer, Darian Pinkerton, Alyssa Kirby, and Avery Dawson got 4th place.
Not only did our members receive awards during Convention, but from living to serve throughout the year, our chapter did as well. Tri-County FFA is an Indiana Big 10 Chapter which placed 1rst in the Living to Serve Food Security Initiative, 4th in the Living to Serve Community Initiative, and 8th in Chapter donations, donating $1,171.33.
