Our Chapter had a very successful Virtual State Convention. Our very own Blayne Vandeveer got inducted into state office in the position of Northern Region Vice President. Members also competed in contests. We had 10 teams place in Agriscience. The results are:
First Place Blayne Vandeveer & Devin Reynolds in Social Systems Division 6 Blake Peterson & Tyler Kilmer in Environmental Systems Division 6 Lucas Scherer in Plant Systems Division 3 Avery Dawson in Animal Systems Division 6 Second Place Kylie Foster & Myah Alberts in Animal Systems Division 6 Lane Cochran in Social Systems Division 3 Verania Del Real in Plant Systems Division 3 Logan Schneidt in Food Systems Division 5 Third Place Tyler Vandeveer in Social Systems Division 3 Justin Kilmer in Plant Systems Division 3 We also had members participate in other events and place. Blayne Vandeveer placed 1rst in Employment Skills and 3rd in Leadership Ambassador, the Agricultural Communications team of Tyler Kilmer, Leah Schneider, Abigail Arvin, & Avery Dawson placed 2nd in the state, and the Agribusiness Management team of Tyler Kilmer, Darian Pinkerton, Alyssa Kirby, and Avery Dawson got 4th place. Not only did our members receive awards during Convention, but from living to serve throughout the year, our chapter did as well. Tri-County FFA is an Indiana Big 10 Chapter which placed 1rst in the Living to Serve Food Security Initiative, 4th in the Living to Serve Community Initiative, and 8th in Chapter donations, donating $1,171.33.
